GENERAL INFORMATION REGARDING COOKIES

res-group.eu uses cookies to make its services simple and efficient for users who view its pages.

Users who view the site will be able to receive minimal amounts of information on the terminals they use, be they desktop computers, notebooks or mobile devices, in small text files called “cookies” saved in the directories used by the user’s web browser.  There are various types of cookies including, but not limited to, those used to make the use of the site more effective and improve the user’s browsing experience, others to enable particular features.

Visitors have the option of configuring their browser to be notified of cookies or reject them.  The acceptance of cookies by the browser can be disabled by changing the above settings.

TYPES OF COOKIES AND RULES RELATING TO CONSENT OF USE

Technical cookies

These cookies are used for the sole purpose of “carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information organization service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service” (see art.122, paragraph 1 of the Code).

They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or operator of the website.  They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee the normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); analytics cookies, associated with technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service provided.

For the installation of these cookies, the prior consent of the users is not required.

Profiling cookies

These are cookies used to track the user’s browsing on the net and create profiles on his tastes, habits, choices, etc.  With these cookies, advertising messages can be transmitted to the user’s terminal in line with the preferences already expressed by the same user when browsing online.  Due to the particular invasiveness that these devices may have within the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed on the use of the same and thus express their valid consent Profiling cookies.

RES does not use first-party profiling cookies.

Third party cookies

These are cookies managed by a third party other than the site owner.  For these cookies, the obligation of information and indication of the methods for blocking the cookie is the responsibility of the third party, while the site owner is obliged to insert the link to the third party’s site on the site where these elements are available.

For this type of cookie, the collection of consent, necessary if the cookie is profiling (and not technical), takes place through a special banner on the home page of the site.
