RES Group proudly announces its recognition as the only italian company included by Gartner among the representative vendors in the Market Guide for Mainframe and Legacy Systems Migration and Modernization Tools.
The guide, published by Gartner, analyzes the market for tools specialized for mainframe and legacy systems modernization. It highlights how technical debt, obsolescence, and high costs are driving companies to modernize their applications. It also outlines the main approaches to modernization, providing guidance on how to choose the most suitable tool based on feasibility, risks, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
Gartner has recognized RES as a representative vendor for mainframe and legacy system migration and modernization tools, specifically mentioning the RES Suite among its specialized solutions.
The RES Suite is a series of products dedicated to IT infrastructure modernization, characterized by high levels of customization and modularity. These products can be utilized independently by the client or with the specialized consulting services of RES, to whom companies can partially or fully entrust their modernization projects.
With its Suite, RES provides customers with innovative services and solutions to tackle the complexities of managing and modernizing legacy systems.
“Inclusion in Gartner’s report is a recognition of many years of effort on two very different fronts,” said Federico Bonelli, CEO of RES IT, a company of the RES Group. “Operationally, we have been supporting our clients for decades, guiding them through major technological change projects. On the communication front, we have been investing significant efforts to move out of the anonymity of a small company and carve out the right space in the minds of our prospects. Now the Group has reached a size that allows us to be involved in complex projects alongside major organizations. These two very different areas of commitment are bearing fruit, enhancing our presence and visibility in the market,” Bonelli concluded.
