WebRatio was founded in 2001 as a company specialized in the development of highly innovative web and mobile application solutions. From the outset, it has stood out for an approach based on agility and automation in the software development process, introducing the first visual modeling language dedicated to user interfaces.
WebRatio is the creator of the WebRatio Platform, a low-code platform used to develop over 1,000 applications for more than 150 clients worldwide. Its working method is fast, iterative and results-oriented, enabling the transition from idea to a working solution in just a few weeks.
In 2013, the Interaction Flow Modeling Language (IFML), developed by WebRatio, became an official standard adopted by the Object Management Group (OMG). In the same year, the company was named a Gartner Cool Vendor for its innovative contribution to low-code development.
In 2017, WebRatio received the award for Best Digital Transformation Project at the Digital360 Awards, thanks to the introduction of the TRM (Things Relationship Management) concept, a new category of software for managing connected objects in industrial and IoT environments.
Since 2023, WebRatio has been part of RES Group, expanding its innovation capabilities and market reach by integrating expertise and resources to deliver more advanced technological solutions, also at an international level.
The company continuously invests in research and development, allocating over 20% of its annual revenue to innovation projects and collaborating with leading research institutes in the ICT field.
The WebRatio Platform is used in hundreds of universities worldwide for teaching and research purposes, particularly in the field of software engineering.
